Gretchen began her Yoga practice as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech. She found Yoga to be a great compliment to her long runs on Virginia Tech’s cross-country course & around Blacksburg. However, after experiencing the Jivamukti Yoga founders, David Life & Sharon Gannon’s, energetic, invigorating, challenging, & empowering style of Yoga first-hand, she was moved to deepen her practice & dedicate herself to living her Yoga practice on & off the mat. Sharing the beautiful gift of Yoga with others by becoming a Yoga teacher seemed like the next logical step in her Yogic journey. To date she has completed intensive training workshops with the founders of the Jivamukti School of Yoga, Sharon Life & David Gannon, Center For Yoga founder, and Jonny Kest.
